CLI in the terminal
The k4tron CLI is an interactive coding agent that runs in the terminal, alongside any editor you prefer. It reads, edits and runs code in your project folder.
Requirements
- Node.js 20 or newer;
- a k4tron account.
The CLI works on Windows, macOS and Linux. After installing and connecting, you can work in the current workspace and resume your sessions whenever you want.
CLI or extension?
Choose the CLI when you want to work directly in the terminal, in scripts or in environments without a graphical interface. Choose the extension when you prefer to follow diffs and approvals inside the editor. Both share the same account and the same sessions — you can switch whenever you want.
Continue in VS Code
Sessions are shared between the CLI and the extension. You can start in the terminal and continue in VS Code with the same conversation and context.
