Extension usage

Open the project folder you want to work on before starting a session. The agent works in the workspace open in VS Code.

Open the panel

Open the k4tron panel from the Activity Bar. You can also use:

  • Ctrl+Alt+K on Windows and Linux;
  • Cmd+Alt+K on macOS.

Start a session

After connecting your account, open a new session and describe what you want to do. For example:

  • “explain this module”;
  • “fix the failing tests”;
  • “refactor this function”;
  • “start the development server”.

The agent reads the workspace context, executes the task and shows its progress in the feed. Changes appear as diffs for you to review.

Approvals

By default, the agent asks for confirmation before sensitive actions. If you prefer, turn on “Auto-approve” to allow actions automatically.

Sessions

Sessions are persistent and shared with the CLI. You can start in VS Code and continue in the terminal with the same conversation and context.
